This vintage cream crochet knit lace dress, slip and hat dates from the 1930s. It is made of a sheer cream color crochet knit lace fabric with decorative crochet button trim accents. This sensational summertime ensemble includes a dress, slip and matching hat. The A-line style day dress has a V neckline with front flap lapel collar, a small sailor collar on back and short cap sleeves. The dress measures 46 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 34 inch bust. There is a matching floppy knit hat with a wired wide brim, rosette floral leaf crochet trim on front and a mother or pearl buckle trim on back. The hat measures 22 inches inside circumference. Also included is an off white silk slip for wearing underneath. The outfit is in good wearable condition, with only some faint age spotting discoloration on the both the hat and dress which have not been cleaned.
