| This
antique Edwardian era embroidered white linen lace dress dates from
1910. It is made of a quality white linen fabric with raised padded
satin stitch embroidery eyelet cut work and cluny bobbin lace trim
inserts. This lovely linen two piece dress walking suit outfit includes
a matching blouse and skirt. The beautiful bodice blouse is loose
fitting, with a high neck collar, scalloped edged sleeves, a lace
trim front and buttons down the back for closure. It measures 21
inches long, with a 36 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 14 1/2 inch
back. The long floor length skirt has matching embroidery work,
a gathered wide waistband with hook and eye closure and a "James
McCutcheon & Co. 5th Ave. & 34th Street New York" label.
It measures 37 inches long, with a 28 inch waist. The skirt is in
excellent clean wearable condition. The blouse is in as-is condition
with a tiny split on the front collar, several mends and patches
on the bottom front and under the arm (see bottom photo for close-up).
