This Edwardian era men's linen duster motoring coat dates from 1910. It is made of an off white ecru color heavy quality linen fabric. This gentlemen's loose fitting long floor length duster style driving motoring coat has large wooden buttons on the front for closure. There is a rounded flap style collar which can be worn up or folded down, long full sleeves with rolled sleeve cuffs and two front flap patch pockets. This coat would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when riding and driving in a motor car. The coat is a large size measuring 56 inches long, with 54 inch hips, waist and chest. It is in excellent clean wearable condition, with a broken small plastic button at the neck.
