antique Victorian era gentlemen's dapper red silk waistcoat vest
dates from the 1880s. It is made of a radiant red silk grosgrain
ribbed textured fabric. There is a brown polished cotton fabric
backing, with an adjustable buckle strap on back. It is fully lined
in white cotton. This dapper dandyism gentlemen's carpetbaggers
waistcoat vest has a low cut front opening with a narrow shawl style
lapel collar, two front slit pockets and four mother of pearl buttons
for closure on the front. The vest measures 21 inches long, with
a 34 inch waist and 40 inch chest. It is in excellent wearable condition,
with only a small stain on the inside lining. $200 |
