vintage ecru net embroidered rosette bias cut dress dates from the
1930s. It is made of a sheer ecru cream pale yellow color cotton
net with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a floral
and snowflake design pattern. There is a lovely large pastel silk
rosette ribbon work floral trim sewn onto the front bodice. This
fabulous floor length bias cut dress has pleated shoulders, a V
front neckline, plunging low V back, short cap sleeves, full skirt
and side snaps for closure. The dress measures 61 inches long, with
38 inch hips, a 26 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in excellent
clean wearable condition, with only a few tiny pin holes in the
skirt. This is truly a beautiful and rare piece of wearable textile
lace and ribbon work art.
