from the 1940s. It is made of a black silk velvet fabric with gathered
puckered smocking on the skirt and a unlined sheer black chantilly
lace front top. This pretty party cocktail dress has sheer lace
short puffy sleeves, a ruffled lace neckline collar, decorative
black jet buttons on the front top and a side zipper closure. The
dress measures 43 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 34 inch waist,
36 inch bust and 12 1/2 inch back. It is in excellent wearable condition.
