antique Art Deco lilac purple silk embroidered piano shawl dates
from the 1920s. It is made of a lilac light purple silk with machine
made raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a floral
vine leaf ribbon bow pattern design. There is a hand knotted lilac
silk fringe which measures 18 inches long surrounding the entire
shawl. The shawls fabric square measures 48 by 48 inches. This beautiful
Spanish Flamenco style shawl is in excellent wearable condition,
with only a small faint age spot near the top. It is a wonderful
