vintage Gorgissima Ematite black silk floral dress & jacket
dates from the 1980s. It is made of black silk with a colorful floral
print pattern. There are rhinestones and sequins outlining the floral
pattern on the front top and on the velvet flower trim. This sensational
disco era cocktail dress ensemble includes a wrap dress with side
drape, plunging necklines, long fitted sleeves, shoulder padding
and a back zipper closure. The dress measures 42 inches long, with
38 inch hips, a 28 inch waist and 38 inch bust. There is a matching
floral print silk crepe textured quilted jacket, with black silk
trim edging, shoulder padding and an open front with no closure.
The jacket measures 21 inches long in the front, 24 inches long
in the back, with a 36 inch waist, 38 inches bust, 16 inch back
and 25 inch long sleeves. There is a "Gorgissima Fashion As
An Art Form" and "Ematite Made in Italy" designer
label and size 44 tag sewn inside. It is in excellent wearable condition
