This
antique Victorian era Paramount Pictures Wardrobe white coutil corset
dates from 1900. It is made of a white cotton coutil fabric, with
white filet lace trim edging the top, pink silk ribbon and white
lace edging around the bottom and pink floral brocade ribbon ruffle
trim down the back. This lovely lingerie transitional hourglass
to S-bend style corset has a busk hook front laced closure, boned
stays sewn inside and comes with the original long corset string
laces for lacing up the back. It is stamped inside "Paramount
Pictures Inc. Ladies Wardrobe". This pretty period corset was
likely worn in a movie and was a deaccession from Paramount Pictures.
The corset measures 14 inches long, with a 25 inch adjustable waist.
It is in good wearable condition, with some wear and a repaired
mend on the front seam. $150 |
