This antique Edwardian era embroidered white organdy dress dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer fine white organdy fabric, with tiny embroidered forget-me-not flowers. This gorgeous garden tea party dress has a layered ruffle style, bib overlay front top, V neckline, shoulder pleating, 3/4 length sleeves, hooks and eyes for closure down the back. Someone has added a purple floral silk scarf sash belt. The dress measures 55 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 26 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 15 inch back. It is in excellent clean wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of romantically feminine Edwardian antique textile art which could be worn as a wedding gown or graduation dress. $250 |
