This exquisite antique Victorian era white battenburg tape lace blouse dates from 1900. It is made of a hand stitched off white cream color battenburg tape lace with button hole stitching, connecting brides and bars backed onto a sheer net lining. This lovely lace blouse top has a high neck collar, scalloped design yoke, decorative front, long tapered sleeves, with hooks and eyes down the back for closure and is fully lined in cotton netting. The blouse measures 17 inches long, with a 36 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 14 inch back and 16 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent wearable condition. This is a wonderful piece of wearable antique lace art.
