This pair of vintage floral silk rayon Japanese pajama lounge set dates from the 1940s. Included is a lovely two piece lingerie lounging set with a matching top and pants. The loose fitting tunic style blouse top is made of silk, with a golden yellow floral print pattern and black border edging. There is pink pastel silk rosette trim on the front V neckline and open sides. The top has a 44 inch waist and bust. There are black rayon pants with a fitted waistband, side zipper and button closure. The pants measure 35 inches long, with a 21 inch inseam, 40 inch hips and a 24 inch waist. There is a "Made in Japan" size 12 tag sewn inside the pants. This lovely lounging pajama set is in excellent clean wearable condition and is a wonderful piece of wearable Asian art which could easily be worn out today. $100 |
