Art Deco Silver Lamé Lace Drop Waist Flapper Dress. |

This amazing Art Deco silver lamé lace drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a silver silk fabric, with silver metallic lamé thread woven through out in an Art Deco abstract pattern design. There is sheer white net lace with silver metallic thread outlining the floral lace pattern on the top. This fabulous loose fitting drop waist flapper dress is sleeveless, with a lace vest style cropped top overlay, a low V neckline, side sash bow tie trim on the hip and a full flared uneven asymmetrical handkerchief hemline skirt. It is lined in the bodice only. The dress is a large size measuring 44 to 53 inches long with the uneven hemline, 44 inch hips, a 40 inch waist and 42 inch bust. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only some slight faint tarnish discoloration on the front skirt (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art. $650 |
