This vintage Hanold Outfitters wool sailor middy blouse & bloomers dates from the 1920s. It is made of a fine navy blue wool fabric, with white cording trim. This girl's athletic sportswear outfit has a middy top blouse, with a sailor collar, V neckline, front breast pocket, with white striping on the back collar and cuffs. The top measures 21 inches long, with a 38 inch waist, bust, 15 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. Included is a pair of matching loose fitting bloomer pantaloon pants shorts which are pleated, with gathered elastic pant leg cuffs and a side button closure waistband. The shorts measure 22 inches long, with 46 inch hips and a 26 inch waist. There is a "Hanold Outfitting Company Standish Maine Size 16" label and "Ginny Brown" name tag sewn inside both the top and shorts. The company was outfitters for girls camps, schools and colleges athletic uniform sportswear. This two piece outfit is in good wearable condition, with only a small moth hole on the side pant leg.
