pair of antique Chinese silk butterfly bird embroidered shoes dates
from the 1930s. They are all hand stitched and made of black silk
with colorful pastel butterflies, birds, and flowers done in raised
padded satin stitch hand embroidery work. These stunning slipper
style slip-on shoes have hand stitched hard leather bottom soles,
and are fully lined in white linen with made for export red ink
stamps inside. The shoes measure 9 1/2 inches long, and 3 inches
wide. They are in excellent clean wearable condition. These are
