This pair of antique Chinese red silk floral bird embroidered shoes dates from the 1930s. They are all hand stitched and made of red silk with colorful flowers and birds done in raised padded satin stitch embroidery work, and green french knot accents. These stunning slipper style slip-on shoes have hand stitched hard leather bottom soles, and are fully lined in white linen with made for export red ink "Made in China" stamps inside. The shoes measure 8 1/2 inches long, and 3 inches wide. They are in excellent clean wearable condition. These are a beautiful piece of antique Chinese textile art.
