Victorian Black Wool High Button Boots. |
| This
pair of antique Victorian era unworn black wool high button boots
date from 1900. They are made of a black patent leather shoe with
a fine black wool fabric upper boot. The boots have rounded toes,
12 original black shoe buttons and stacked wood cube heels. They
measure 8 inches tall, 10 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, with 2
inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's
foot, but my guess would be about a size 6 narrow width. They are
unworn and are in excellent wearable condition. There is some flaking
of the leather trim inside the tops (see bottom photo for close-up).
These are beautiful quality made boots.
