Victorian Black Leather Lace-up Boots Front view.Victorian Black Leather Lace-up Boots

This pair of antique Victorian era black leather lace-up boots dates from 1900. They are made of a supple black leather. The boots have slightly pointed toes, with the original black shoe laces and stacked black wooden French heels. They are stamped on the bottom black soles and inside top "Dr. A. Reed Cushion Shoe" "John Ebberts Shoe Co. Makers Buffalo, N.Y. Patents July, 15 1900". The boots measure 10 inches tall, 10 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 2 1/2 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot but my guess would be about a size 6 narrow width. The boots are in excellent clean wearable condition and look to have only been worn perhaps once. These are beautiful quality made antique boots.
