Black Suede Leather Lace-up Boots. |
This
pair of antique Victorian era black suede leather lace-up high top
boots date from 1900. They are made of a two tone soft black suede
leather upper boot and black patent leather bottom shoe with decorative
punch work designs across the front toes and around the shoes. The
boots have the original black shoe laces and leather covered French
spool heels. They are lined around the inside tops with white kid
leather and stamped "The B.R. Baker Co. Toledo, Ohio".
The boots measure 10 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches
wide, with 2 1/2 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult
to size for today's foot but my guess would be about a size 7 or
7 1/2 narrow width. The boots have been gently worn and are in good
wearable condition, with some slight fade discoloration to the suede
