This pair of antique Victorian Civil War era white kid leather high top button wedding boots date from the 1860s. They are made of a soft supple white kid leather, with scalloped edged tops, side openings and decorative stitching across the front instep vamps. The boots have squared toes, slightly crooked leather bottom soles, 10 white shoe buttons and white kid leather covered low Louis XV heels. They are lined in leather along the tops and linen inside and are stamped inside a size 32B. The boots measure 9 1/2 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide, with 1 1/2 inch high heels. They have been gently worn and are in good condition, with only some minor scuffs. These are beautiful bridal antique wedding boots.
