vintage Dobbs miniature fedora hat and box dates from the 1950s.
It is made of a brown felt with a red ribbon hat band. This miniature
men's fedora style hat would have been given as a sort of gift certificate.
The miniature gift hat would have been purchased at a local hat
shop that could be redeemed for a real hat by the recipient at a
later date. It comes in the original miniature "Dobbs Fifth
Avenue Hats New York" hat box. This unique item is in excellent
