Natural Straw Taupe Silk Floral Bonnet. |
| This
antique Victorian era natural straw taupe silk floral bonnet dates
from the 1870s. It is made of a tightly woven natural straw and
taupe silk fabric. There are is scalloped straw and silk ruffle
trim overlapping each other. This beautiful bonnet has pink cloth
roses, green chenille wired stems and red silk ribbon trim decorating
the front top. It is lined in a stiff white net canvas. The bonnet
measures 16 inches in circumference and 10 inches deep. It is in
good wearable condition, with only some slight fade to the cloth
roses. This would be wonderful bonnet for a large antique doll.
