Large
Beaded Roses Purse. |
This
lovely antique large beaded roses purse dates from the 1920s. It
is made up of tiny glass beads hand sewn into a floral rose design.
The background is done in shades of blue and gray giving it a steel
cut look. The front and back have shades of yellow, red, pink and
green beads created into roses and leaves. There is an engraved
floral patterned frame with red stones and enameled daisies. The
large red stone on top is part of the clasp which is in fine working
order. There is a metal chain attached to the top for carrying.
The inside is fully lined in pink silk. This magnificent large size
purse measures 11 inches long and 9 inches wide. It is in excellent
useable condition with only a tiny row of missing beads on the back
and bottom corner which is hardly noticeable. There are also a few
small splits on the inside silk lining. $350 |
