This vintage Jolles Original dachshund beaded handbag purse dates from the 1950s. It is made of a brown velvet fabric with a needlepoint appliqué of a dachshund dog on the front. The appliqué is accented with tiny colorful beading glued around it and small gold dog charms where the cute pup is descending the stairs. This funky retro large bucket style handbag purse has amber orange plastic handles on top. There is a gold metal lock closure. It is fully lined in brown felt with a "Jolles Original" label sewn inside. The purse measures 13 inches tall and 10 inches wide. It is in good useable condition, with only some minor wear to the velvet corners and a few rhinestone beads are missing of the little wiener dogs toes.
