antique Victorian era beaded needlepoint pincushion pillow dates
from the 1880s. It is hand made with a red needlepoint background
and a crystal beaded floral design on the front. There is red and
white twisted yarn creating a decorative border edging with crystal
beaded loop fringe hanging down from the sides. It backed in a red
fine wool fabric and stuffed with sawdust making it quite dense
and heavy. This pretty pincushion pillow measures 10 by 10 inches
and is in good condition with only a few small moth holes on the
back and a faint stain on the center front. $100 |
