Beauty Black Cat Brand Stockings. |
This
pair of unworn antique Edwardian era American Beauty Black Cat Brand
stockings date from 1910. They are made of a black lisle fine cotton
thread with a sheer knit cut away zig-zagging design done on the
lower front. These ladies lovely long thigh high quality made stockings
are stamped at the top "American Beauty Black Cat Brand"
and on the bottom foot "Lisle Thread Size 10 1/2". They
measure 27 inches long, with a 10 inch foot and are in good clean
condition and have never been worn. There is a small hole near the
top of one stocking which would need to be mended (see bottom photo
for close-up).
