antique Edwardian era black silk ribbon mourning ebony parasol dates
from 1910. It is made of a black silk fabric lining, with a sheer
fine black silk chiffon and ribbon trim ruffled flounce overlay.
There is black velvet ribbon and tassel trim wrapped around the
elaborately carved black ebony wood handle, a finial top and black
metal frame inside in fine working order. This decorative mourning
parasol measures 37 inches long and 84 inches in circumference when
opened. It is in excellent useable condition and is truly a rare
find.
