This
antique Ottoman period Turkish embroidery linen sash towel dates
from the late 1800s. It is made of a homespun hand woven linen fabric
with hand embroidery work. There are silver metallic threads done
in couching needlework designs and hand applied silver metal stud
accents along the bottom edging. There are matching domestic floral
geometric embroidered decorative designs on both sides of the mid
19th century sash ends fabric towel. The sash measures 34 inches
long and is 22 inches wide. It has wonderful workmanship and is
excellent condition. This is truly a beautiful one of a kind piece
