This amazing Art Deco vintage black silk beaded butterfly fringed flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black sheer silk chiffon fabric, with black jet beading creating a large beautiful beaded butterfly on both the front and back. There are black beaded medallions and fringe along the sides. This fabulous flapper dress evening gown has a loose fitting, drop waist, straight shift style, sleeveless, beaded rounded scoop necklines and is fully lined with a black silk slip lining sewn inside. The dress measures 56 inches long, with a 42 inch bust, 42 inch waist and 42 inch hips. It is in good condition, with only a few loose missing beads which is difficult to see. This is truly an exceptional piece of Art Deco wearable beaded textile art!
