This vintage embroidered cream net filet, crochet, mixed lace drop waist shift dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white cream color sheer tulle net fabric with a Swiss dot design, raised padded satin stitch embroidery work of flowers and a patchwork of mixed laces, filet, crochet and Valenciennes lace trimmings. This lovely lace chemise style shift dress is loose fitting, has a drop waist, short sleeves, fold over crochet lace trim collar, V front neckline and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 41 inches long, with a 36 inch bust, 34 inch waist and 36 inch hips. It is in good condition, with a small frayed rip on one sleeve (see close-up).
