Vintage Justin's Prewitt New Mexico Fiesta Patio Squaw Dress Circle Skirt & Top
This vintage Justin's Prewitt New Mexico fiesta patio squaw dress circle skirt and top dates from the 1950s. It is made of a black and white floral vine leaf design print cotton fabric with white rick rack trim. This Southwestern style fiesta patio squaw dress has a full circle skirt with pleating, hook closures on the back and is unlined. The skirt measures 29 inches long, with a 26 inch waist. There is a matching fabric blouse top with short sleeves, a peplum skirted waist, side zipper closure and is unlined. The top measures 22 inches long, with a 36 inch bust and 26 inch waist. There is a "Justin's Prewitt, New Mexico" label sewn inside. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned and has several small age spot stains on both pieces (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of Mexican, Native American, Southwestern inspired textile art!
