It is made of a dark midnight blue velvet fabric, with jet beading, black lace and ribbon trim edging the neckline. This beautiful beaded short cropped cloak cape capelet has a black lace ruffle collar, with hook closures on the front neckline and is fully lined in an iridescent burgundy red silk fabric. The cape measures 17 inches long, 18 inches across the back shoulders and has a 15 inch neck. It is in good condition, with only some frayed splits on the inside neck silk lining (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana winter wearable art!
