It is made of a sheer white cotton batiste lawn fabric, with a white raised padded satin stitch embroidery work whitework done in a decorative polka dot, laurel leaf, Greek key meander design and lace trim edging the collar and cuffs.

This vintage Edwardian era white cotton batiste embroidered laurel Greek key polka dot dress dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer white cotton batiste lawn fabric, with a white raised padded satin stitch embroidery work whitework done in a decorative polka dot, laurel leaf, Greek key meander design and lace trim edging the collar and cuffs. This lovely lace lawn dress tea gown is floor length with a scalloped bottom hemline skirt, lace trim high neckline, gathered shoulders, long full sleeves, a fitted waistband, hook closures down the back and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 57 inches long, with a 36 inch bust, 26 inch waist, 40 inch hips, 19 inch long sleeves and 14 inch back. It is in good condition, with only a small frayed hole in the lace neckline trim and side skirt (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable antique lace art which could be worn as a wedding or graduation dress!
