This vintage Original Ina Mae of Hollywood Chinese red silk brocade blouse top dates from the 1940s. It is made of a red silk, gold, white damask weave brocade fabric, with a woven Chinese figural pattern design of people, pagoda shrine temples, boats and outdoor garden village scenes done throughout. This beautiful blouse top has a short crop style, with broad shoulder padding, short cap sleeves, a mandarin collar, fitted waist, black braided rope knotted button toggle closures down the front and is fully lined in a black nylon fabric. There is an "Original Ina Mae of Hollywood" designer label sewn inside. The top measures 20 inches long, with a 36 inch bust and 28 inch waist. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Asian inspired textile art!
