This antique Victorian era blue and black striped print cotton chintz calico dress blouse, skirt set dates from 1900. It is made of a blue and black cotton chintz glazed calico fabric, with a striped print pattern. This womens work wear two piece day dress has a short crop over top style camisole sleeveless shirt blouse, with key hole cut out openings on the sides, an open front with a single hook closure on the fitted waistband and is unlined. The top measures 15 inches long, with a 34 inch bust and 24 inch waist. There is a matching long floor length full skirt, with pleating, hook closures on the back and is unlined, with a black, red roses print calico cotton trim under the hemline. The skirt measures 40 inches long, with a 26 inch waist. It is in good condition, appearing to have never been worn, with only a few tiny pin holes on the skirt. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana calico textile art!
