It is made of a natural ecru color pongee raw silk fabric, with blue silk embroidered stitched clouds of smoke, dragons, pearls and flames.

This vintage antique Chinese dragon blue embroidered pongee raw silk kimono robe dates from the 1920s. It is made of a natural ecru color pongee raw silk fabric, with blue silk embroidered stitched clouds of smoke, dragons, pearls and flames. This Oriental dragon kimono robe is loose fitting, a long mid tea length, with long full sleeves, with small embroidered dragons on it, patch pockets, an open front with no closure, missing the belt, a large front facing dragon embroidered on the back and is unlined. The kimono measures 43 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 40 inch waist and 21 inch back. It is in good as-is condition, with a few faint small stains on the front opening (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Chinese textile art!
