This vintage Eve's Leaves by Chevette lingerie black lace fig leaf appliqué tap panties date from the 1940s. It is made of a black sheer cobweb net lace fabric, with a floral pattern design and black silk fig leaf appliqué with veined stitching details. This rare, risqué novelty lingerie tap pants panties, bloomers have sheer lace scalloped trim edging along the full pant legs, with a fig leaf appliqué embroidered on the side leg, button closures along the side and is sheer, unlined. The "Eve's Leaves by Chevette" label has been cut out leaving only a small white remnant on the back waist. The panties measure 14 inches long, with a 28 inch waist and 36 inch hips.
