This vintage Edwardian era white linen pastel embroidered crochet lace combing bed jacket dates from 1910. It is made of a white linen fabric, with pastel embroidered flowers on the front and crochet lace trim edging. This beautiful boudoir bed combing jacket is loose fitting, with wide open sides, an open front with a pink ribbon tie closure at the neck and drawstring waist. The combing jacket would have been worn while getting ready and dressing the hair, with a simple construction to be easily slipped on and off during preparation. The jacket measures 21 inches long, with a 38 inch chest and 24 inch waist. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
