This vintage Art Deco appliqué pattern gold lamé long flapper coat jacket dates from the 1920s. It is made of a gold metallic lamé thread silk weave fabric with a woven abstract textured patchwork pattern appliquéd design. This fabulous flapper coat jacket has a loose fitting long mid length robe style, with an open front, no closures, long full sleeves and is fully lined in a silk fabric with some small faint stains inside. The coat measures 34 inches long, with a 44 inch bust, 44 inch waist, 44 inch hips, 24 inch long sleeves and a 14 inch back. It is in good as-is condition, with some fraying along the gold lamé trim edging the neck, front opening and a small fray on each sleeve (see close-ups). This is truly a rare and amazing piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
