Vintage Japanese Colorful Floral Fan Silk Screen Haori Kimono Robe Jacket This unique ceremonial coming of age Japanese haori kimono robe short jacket style overcoat would have been worn to protect the longer kimono underneath and has a quilted padded silk fabric back collar, long swinging kimono sleeves, red toggle snap closures on the front and is fully lined.

This vintage Japanese colorful floral fan silk screen haori kimono robe jacket dates from the 1920s. It is made of a bright colorful silk damask fabric with a silk screen design of flowers, fans, ball, drums. This unique ceremonial coming of age Japanese haori kimono robe short jacket style overcoat would have been worn to protect the longer kimono underneath and has a quilted padded silk fabric back collar, long swinging kimono sleeves, red toggle snap closures on the front and is fully lined. The kimono measures 28 inches long, with a 38 inch chest, 38 inch waist, 25 inch long kimono sleeves and a 19 inch back. It is in good as-is condition, with a few tiny pin holes, faint small stains on the front and sleeves (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Japanese textile art!
