It is made of an off white cream color soft curly mohair fur wool fabric. This charming child's warm winter outfit includes a coat, with fold over collar, long sleeves, mother of pearl button closures and is fully lined in a cotton fabric.

This antique Victorian era children's curly white mohair fur winter coat and cap hat dates from 1900. It is made of an off white cream color soft curly mohair fur wool fabric. This charming child's warm winter outfit includes a coat, with fold over collar, long sleeves, mother of pearl button closures and is fully lined in a cotton fabric. The coat measures 18 inches long, with a 24 inch chest, 18 inch waist, 12 inch long sleeves and a 10 inch back. Included is a matching fabric cap hat fully lined. The hat measures 10 inches wide at the bottom, 5 inches tall and 20 inches in circumference. It is in fair as-is condition, has not been cleaned with some small stains on the inside lining, along one sleeve and there are several worn nap area spots (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of children's wearable wintertime Victoriana art!
