This vintage Art Deco purple silk beaded bell sleeve bias cut dress evening gown dates from the 1930s. It is made of a purple silk fabric, with striped sheer silk chiffon cutaway bell sleeves and purple beaded accents. This gorgeous gown is a long floor length with a bias cut style, long full flared bell shape sleeves, a cream lace trim modesty insert with weighted front neckline, back keyhole opening bow trim, an attached matching fabric belted waist and is lined inside the top only with a net camisole. There is a "Anderson Importer Detroit" label sewn inside the camisole top lining. The dress is a large size measuring 54 inches long, with a 42 inch bust, 36 inch waist, 48 inch hips and 15 inch back. It is in good as-is condition, with some fade discoloration on the purple silk fabric in areas, faint underarm stains, two tiny faint stains on the front top and a few frayed small holes on the chiffon fabric sleeves (see close-ups).
