This vintage white organdy lace dove bird slip dress and rosette ruffle blouse top dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer white crisp cotton organdy fabric with figural filet lace love bird doves circular medallion inserts framed with ruffle trim edging along the skirt and pastel rosette flower trimmings on the blouse. This gorgeous garden party dress is two piece with a mid length sleeveless slip dress, smocking gathering around the waist, lace medallion inserts on the skirt, side snap closures and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 45 inches long, with a 36 inch bust and 26 inch waist. There is a matching organdy fabric short cropped style middy blouse top with a shawl collar, ruffle trim edging, short puffy sleeves, a scalloped peplum waist with rosette trim accents, front side snap closures and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 18 inches long, with a 36 inch bust, 38 inch waist and 13 inch back. It is in good as-is condition, with a small frayed hole on the skirt and a mended repair on the front top of underslip (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
