This antique Victorian era beige and white checked flannel morning robe bed jacket cape dates from 1900. It is made of a beige and white checked print soft brushed nap flannel cotton fabric, with pink crochet lace trim edging and pink silk ribbonwork rosette trim accents. This marvelous morning robe combing bed jacket is a short mid length with a loose fitting cape style, with slight set sleeves attached underneath with pink crochet straps, rolled cuffs, a fold over lapel collar, pink crochet covered button ribbon tie front closure and is unlined. The jacket measures 19 inches long and 20 inch back shoulders. It is in good as-is condition, has not been cleaned with a few faint small stains and some frayed loose crochet lace trim edging on the bottom sleeve cuff (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victorian boudoir wearable art!
