This antique Edwardian era black velvet crochet button trim winter walking suit long coat jacket and skirt dates from 1910. It is made of a black silk velvet fabric with black velvet twisted raised rope trim accents on the waist. This wonderful winter walking suit has a long coat jacket with a fold over collar, belted trim waist, long full sleeves, rolled cuffs with black crochet covered squared buttons also for closure down the front and has been relined in a black nylon fabric inside. The jacket measures 40 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 34 inch waist, 44 inch hips, 23 inch long sleeves and a 14 inch back. There is a matching black velvet fabric skirt with black crochet covered square button trim on the belted waist, snap closures on the side and is unlined. The skirt measures 40 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and 48 inch hips. The outfit is in good as-is condition, with a tiny tear on the back jacket and some slight fraying on a few of the crochet buttons. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
