This vintage cream tambour embroidery net lace dress, slip and vest jacket top dates from the 1930s. It is made of an off white cream color sheer tulle net fabric, with raised padded satin stitch, tambour chain stitch embroidery work done in a floral vine leaf design and lace trim edging. This lovely lace gown is a long floor length with a full skirt, bias cut, lace straps, lace trim top, side snap closures on both the outer dress and inner silk slip lining sewn inside. There is a matching short cropped top sleeveless vest jacket with snaps attaching to the dress, which can be removed, an open front with no closure and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 56 inches long, with a 34 inch bust, 28 inch waist and 44 inch hips. It is in good condition and has not been cleaned with only faint yellowing discoloration in areas.
