This vintage white cotton batiste embroidered eyelet cutwork lace drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer white cotton batiste fabric with an embroidered three diamond dash bar pattern throughout, raised padded sating stitch embroidered vine leaf flowers with eyelet cutwork lace details. This lovely lace loose fitting drop waist shift dress has a keyhole front neckline with embroidered eyelet panel insert removable dickey top snapped inside, an adjustable necktie closure, 3/4 length sleeves, an apron skirt overlay on the front and is sheer, unlined. The dress is a large size measuring 47 inches long, with a 50 inch chest, 50 inch waist, 60 inch hips and a 17 inch back. It is in good condition, with only a tiny pin hole on the front skirt and some slight fraying along the bottom skirt hemline, necktie. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art. $200 |
