This amazing Art Deco geometric gold lamé opera coat jacket dates from the 1920s. It is made of a gold and black silk lamé fabric with an abstract geometric pattern design. This exquisite evening opera cocoon wrap coat jacket is loose fitting with a long full boxy style, a small fold over lapel collar, long full sleeves and a single large lamé fabric covered button for closure on the front. It is fully lined with a coral red color silk satin fabric lining inside. The coat measures 44 inches long, with 68 inch hips, a 60 inch waist, 55 inch bust, 19 inch back and 21 inch long sleeves. It is in good wearable condition, with only some slight faint tarnish discoloration across the back where it was folded and stored. The inside silk lining at the neck is frayed and needs to be tacked. This is truly a high quality wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco art.
