This antique Japanese haori orchid mauve silk screen kimono jacket dates from the 1960s. It is made of a mauve color silk rayon fabric with a chrysanthemum woven pattern and an orchid flower silk screen design. This unique haori kimono style ladies short jacket is hand stitched, fully lined, with off white silk kumihimo woven ties for closure at the neck. The kimono measures 34 inches long, 50 inches across the shoulders, with 20 inch long swinging sleeves. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only a tiny faint stain on the inside lining. This is a wonderful piece of wearable Japanese textile art.
