This antique Edwardian Titanic era white net embroidered lace rosette dress dates from 1912. It is made of a sheer white cotton net, with white floral embroidery work. This lovely lace long floor length dress has a small V neckline, with a pretty pink silk ribbon work rosette trim, dolman style 3/4 length sleeves with net ruffle trim cuffs, a layered tiered form fitting hobble skirt and hooks & eyes down the back for closure. It is fully lined. The dress measures 63 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 22 inch waist and 40 inch bust. It is in excellent wearable condition, with only a small faint age spot stain on the sleeve and front bodice near the waist. This is a wonderful piece of romantically feminine Edwardian antique textile art which could be worn as a wedding gown or graduation dress. |
